Gilbert ARTAUD (1934-2007) was a French painter, born in Lyon. He was a creator of textile designs for many years, working for the Parisian Haute Couture. Enthralled by the great Impressionists, he was influenced by them. Gilbert ARTAUD was passionate about the views of the Dombes. He drew inspiration from them to create his paintings, watercolors, and lithographs. He painted bouquets and landscapes with passion.
