Gilles Gorriti, a Generous Figuration

Gilles Gorriti is a French painter and lithographer whose work is rooted in expressive figuration, enriched by color and gesture. Son of the painter Paul Aizpiri, he grew up in an artistic environment that deeply influenced his vision, while asserting a personal style.

Color and Gesture

Scenes of life, characters, landscapes, ports, and still lifes are treated with freedom and warm chromatic intensity. The lively line and generous texture give his compositions an immediate presence, serving emotion rather than demonstration.
