A Vocation Born in 2019
In 2019, during a hospital stay in the United States, Khalifa Ahmed discovered painting as both a means of expression and a path to recovery. Upon returning to the Emirates, he deepened this practice, giving it a unique identity rooted in Arabic calligraphy, one of the major arts of Islamic civilization.
Writing Between Tradition and Contemporary Creation
His artistic vocabulary blends calligraphic lines, acrylic, and 24-carat gold leaf, whose brilliance evokes illuminated manuscripts while serving a decidedly modern aesthetic. Beyond form, the artist asserts a commitment to peace and intercultural dialogue, imparting a humanistic dimension to his work.
