Description
With The Taurus, Michel Jouenne plunges us into the heart of a wild and luminous landscape, where nature and animal mix in a subtle balance. This original silk lithography mounted on vellum, in the format of 38 x 56 cm, translates the evocative power of the artist in his way of capturing the moment. Numbered and signed in pencil, it illustrates its approach between abstraction and figuration, where light and matter intertwine harmoniously.
The dark silhouettes of the bulls contrast with the softness of the landscape, bathed in golden and blue reflections. The soil seems to dissolve in the water, creating an impression of floating and almost unreal movement. The distant horizon, bathed in diffuse light, accentuates the feeling of freedom and vastness. Jouenne plays here on the transparency and fluidity of colors to give the scene a vibrant and poetic depth.
With The Taurus, Michel Jouenne sublimes the raw beauty of nature, offering us a sleek and striking vision of a landscape full of strength and serenity. A work where light, gesture and matter merge to capture the essence of a fleeting and timeless moment.
