Description
Carried out in 1986, Dutch mill Is an original lithograph of Bernard Buffet, a major artist of the French 20th century scene, recognized for his incisive line and his structured compositions. This work is part of the series of landscapes inspired by the Netherlands, recurring theme in the production of the artist during this period.
The composition features a large traditional mill stretching in the center of the image, its wings deployed in an open landscape crossed by a canal.
