RODO BOULANGER Graciela
Graciela Rodo Boulanger (born 1935 in La Paz) is a Bolivian painter. She was very early influenced in her love of painting and music by her mother, concert pianist, and her father, businessman and art connoisseur. She studied music and art from her childhood, giving her first piano concert at the age of 15; she participated in her first art exhibitions in Vienna and Salzburg around the age of 18. Desiring to become a great artist and musician, she notes that time would not allow her to carry out all her passions. At 22, she turned all her energy to painting. She learned etching and printmaking with René Carcan under Johnny Friedlaender in Paris. Her artistic value began to be recognized when she published her first prints at exhibitions in the United States.
