SCHOLL Fabien
Fabien SCHOLL is a Lorrain painter born in 1985, he is the son of Bernard Scholl, a painter tromps the emeritus eyelist, recognized by his peers. After studying graphic art in adolescence, the young man tries various mediums like sculpture or modeling and rubs himself even in the world of tattooing. At the same time, he works for printing, communications agencies and industrial painting. All these graphic techniques and universes only enrich it to develop its own artistic language. It is quite naturally that he crosses the road of Bruno Altmayer, Surrealist painter Mosellan with whom he deepens his pictorial technique. Inspired also by the masking techniques commonly used for aerography, his acrylic painting is a clever blend of lavis and layer overlays to give depth to the scenes. In the line of American pop-surrealists and symbolism, he depicts a utopian universe in which nature resumes its rights over man, religion and dogmas being questioned in their power relations, the woman-object both sacralized and emancipated. A permanent quest beyond any Manichean vision.
