BRASILIER André - Lithograph "Exhibition Galerie René Drouet, Paris" 73x49cm - 1959

André BRASILIER (born 29 October 1929 in Saumur, Maine-et-Loire) is a French painter, watercolourist, lithographer and ceramist.

Seeking harmony between plastic construction and emotion, inspired by life, he defined himself as a "transfigurative" painter: according to him, painting is above all a transfiguration of reality and non-realism.
