Bertrand Charles Elie Couture is a multi-disciplinary artist named CharlElie Couture. He was born on 26 February 1956 and is of Franco-American origin. It creates the current, multiste.

History of CharlElie Couture

He studied at the National School of Fine Arts where he graduated.

Singer, composer, painter, writer, graphic designer and photographer, the artist has more than one rope to his bow. From childhood, he bathed in art. His father, Jean-Pierre Couture, is a professor of Fine Arts and will later go to the antique and decorator trades. Her mother was passionate about literature and her grandmother was a pianist.

He describes himself as a multiste artist. For him, it is a way of not reducing the artist to the technique he uses. This art stream applies to all artists practising several arts. For example, it represents this through acrylic paintings where pieces of poems appear. He also paints on all types of supports.

He will be screened in front of the stage thanks to his music. However, he will not forget his first love, painting. He continues to paint with the same passion that pushed him to begin.

CharlElie Couture wants to live the American Dream!

A finalist in a development contest in Amiens, he was excluded from the competition because he lacked his status as a singer. Disappointed and overwhelmed by this situation, he concludes that he cannot practice his art freely in France and flies to the United States with his family. He creates his own workshop, then his own gallery. In 2018, the American political situation deteriorated, he decided to return to live in France.
