“Modular Sound and Vision” takes its name from David Bowie's song “Sound and Vision” and the gift of sound and image that it embodies. This artwork is inspired by a piece from my personal exhibition “MODULAR FREQUENCY,” which showcases my explorations of distillation and synthesis, combining images, symbols, and texts woven into geometric compositions. Bowie is one of my favorite musicians; he shaped his music and visual universe with equal virtuosity. Music has long inspired me as a democratic medium capable of bringing joy, but also delivering provocative and impactful social commentary. I hope that this new body of work will invite viewers to an aesthetic “frequency,” drawing them into an ideal rhythm and harmony that celebrates bold thinkers and artistic icons like David Bowie.
