Description
This screen print by Shepard Fairey, entitled Uplift Justice, is part of the series of socially engaged works that have brought fame to the American artist. Through a powerful and immediately identifiable graphic composition, Shepard Fairey addresses the notions of justice, equity, and collective responsibility, recurring themes in his work.
The artwork highlights an idealized female figure, treated with the characteristic visual vocabulary of the artist, blending influences from constructivism, political graphics, and contemporary street art. The ornamental motifs, combined with evocative symbols, reinforce the universal scope of the message and invite reflection on the fundamental values that structure our societies.
The color palette, dominated by shades of red, blue, and beige, creates a striking contrast that gives the image its full visual impact. The precision of the lines, the balance of the composition, and the richness of the details testify to the technical expertise specific to Shepard Fairey's screen prints.
Printed on thick Speckletone cream paper in a format of 91 x 61 cm, this artwork benefits from remarkable print quality that highlights each element of the composition. Each copy is signed by Shepard Fairey, guaranteeing its authenticity and appeal to urban and contemporary art enthusiasts.
