Jérôme SAAM, self-taught and spontaneous painter born in Mont Saint Martin in 1981. The works of Jérôme SAAM between figuration and abstraction are born from his experience. Indeed, each work tells a story, and is inspired by human, artistic or places that it discovers. His approach is to transcribe in the first place, his emotions, feelings and sensations with the aim of creating an artistic autobiography. His influences and aspirations are named Victor Hasch, Zumeta, Gonzalo Etxebarria but also Jean Cocteau. The artist who masters pure matter and colors loves to use recovery materials, to make them works of wonderful figurative violence that cannot leave the viewer indifferent. An artist to discover, permanently exhibited at the Gallery.
